Copycat Harpo's Foghorn Dip
I don’t know about you, but whether I’m at Harpo’s for $2 Tuesday, hanging out on the Skyy Bar for half prices appetizers on Sunday or watching Mizzou Football take the field on a game day, Harpo’s classic Foghorn Dip is my go-to menu choice.
I would go so far as to call myself a buffalo dip connoisseur. I’ve tried many dips in my day and something about the bleu cheesy, spicy goodness of the Foghorn Dip keeps me coming back to one of my favorite bars more times than I'd like to admit.
But what about those times I crave that delicious goodness at like, 4 a.m. or something? There certainly won't be leftovers and grocery store dip just isn't the same.
The solution? Our copycat Foghorn Dip, which we made to the best of our ability with the help of some hungry and willing co-workers.
So without further ado, here is Savor’s version of Harpo’s Foghorn Dip
One 8 oz block of cream cheese
2 large cans chunk or shredded chicken
One bottle of any buffalo sauce
One bag shredded mozzarella cheese
One cup (5.3 oz) plain greek yogurt
One half container blue cheese
Chopped green onions (optional)
Tortilla Chips on the side
Directions: Put all ingredients in a crockpot and set to high for two hours.
