Make Your Super Bowl Sunday a Touchdown with these Local Places

Make Your Super Bowl Sunday a Touchdown with these Local Places

Super Bowl Sunday is almost here. Whether you are hosting the big game at your house, in charge of bringing a dish to someone else's party or don't care about the game at all and are just in it for the food (we feel you,) Savor has the best local places to grab what you need for the day.

If you need wings:

Smokin' Chicks - These award winning wings are available smothered in your choice of five signature sauces or dry rubbed and smoked. Available in increments of 10 and 20, they can feed a small or large crowd and are perfect for game day. Smokin' chicks also offers different styles of catering from a large menu of options and will even drop it all off and pick it up when you are done. They also have menu items from each famous BBQ city so whether your taste buds favor Texas or KC, they have what you need.

D.Rowe's - Pick some of their famous smoked wings up before the game.

Shiloh Bar & Grill - $19.99 on Super Bowl Sunday gets you a carry-out order of 25 wings from 11-4!

If you need BBQ:
Lutz's - If you have a group of 75 or more, Lutz's will cater it. Otherwise, get some family-made BBQ to-go.

Buckingham Smokehouse - Voted best BBQ in Columbia 10 years in a row by Inside Columbia Magazine, Buckingham caters to groups 15 or more and also has to-go options.

CoMo Smoke and Fire - If you have a group of 20 or more, CoMo Smoke and Fire will cater your football bash with tasty BBQ and yummy sides like mac n' cheese, slaw and potato salad.

If you need Mexican food:
Addison's - Their nachos are just as beautiful as the art inside. Pick some up on your way to your party.

If you need Pizza:
Southside Pizza - Southside is great for a local pizza delivered straight to your door or to dine in while you watch the game. Enjoy a pizza in the comfort of your own home or while watching one of their 60+ big screens.

Pizza Tree - Pick up a 12 or 18-inch pizza that isn't just your classic cheese (we love the spicy Bahn Mi) or get it delivered.

Gumby's - The college town staple. Delivery or carry out?

If you need an assortment of things:
The Heidelberg - Artichoke dip, chicken fingers, potato skins, wings. All of the apps you need for game day.

Hoss's - Create your own party platter for a large or small crowd with a variety of things from Hoss's Market. They are closed on Sunday though so get what you need early!

Atmosphere:
If you're all about the game, head to Truman's Bar & Grill to always have a view of the field on at least one of their 50+ TVs. They also have breakfast all day.

Campus Bar & Grill - Definitely a college environment if you are into that. Celebrate your team's win with 300 of your closest friends. $5 Domestic pitchers on Sundays!

Harpo's - Columbia's college bar. It wouldn't be football without Foghorn Dip, the Skyybar and the classic Sunday Funday environment.

Willies/ Fieldhouse - Great gameday food, patio seating, tons of TVs.

For the Drinks:
9th Street Public House - 9th St doesn't serve food, but they do have the best and most unique cocktails in CoMo. Enjoy a Bloody Mary with various toppings or a local beer and BYOF (bring your own food.)

iTap - With taps as far as the eye can see, you will never run out of things to try. Also BYOF. BUT, for the big game, they have great deals like $12 pitchers, $3 beers and free wings with the purchase of beer. They also plan on playing the Puppy Bowl on some of their many TVs so how can you pass that up!?

Stock up Before:
These places are closed on Sundays but have some great food for game day if you want to stock up and store it.
Taco Tuesday, Everyday
Cj's Wings
Shotgun Pete's BBQ
