Missouri's U-Pick Farms

You know when you are in the grocery store picking through the pile of fruits to find the ones that look just perfect? Now imagine instead you are looking through fields of berries to fresh pick yourself! Well why just imagine, mid-Missouri offers a variety of u-pick farms full of a variety of produce and even family fun activities. 


Audrain County

  • Hickory Ridge Orchard 

    • What can you pick: apples, pumpkins, mums

    • Other Attractions: Nature Trail & Fish Feeding, Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, Hay-Rack Rides, Hickory Ridge Express (childrens tractor ride), Corn Cannon

    • Pets: Dogs are allowed, but they must be on a leash and well behaved.

    • Location: 24688 AUDRAIN ROAD 820, MEXICO, MISSOURI 65265

    • Season and Hours of Operation: open for the season in August 2019- October   

Friday through Sunday 10am to 6pm

  • Prairie Wind U-Pick Blueberry Farm

    • What can you pick: Blueberries

    • Pets:  Allowed on leash if well behaved. 

    • Location: 2673 Highway C Centralia, Missouri

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Opening day is June 25. Check their facebook for updates on when they will have picking days.

Boone County

  • Blue Shepherd Farm 

    • What can you pick: blueberries

    • Other Attractions: Black Welsh Mountain Breed and Lambs for sale

    • Pets: Not allowed

    • Location: 3601 Route J, Rocheport, MO

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Berry picking is by appointment only, No more than 5 pickers per appointment

    • Payment: credit and debit cards, cash or check.

  • Strawberry Hill Farms 

    • What can you pick: During the summer season they offer a variation of flowers to pick, In fall they offer mums, pumpkins and gourds

    • Other Attractions: free activities for kids in the fall

    • Pets:  Pets allowed on a leash.

    • Season and Hours of Operation: March 21-Mid June: Mon-Sat 8am-7pm Sunday 9am-5pm  Summer season is now closed Sept-Oct Mon-Sat 9am-6pm Sunday 1pm-6pm

Callaway County

  • Danamay Farm 

    • What can you pick:: blackberries, blueberries 

      • you may also find honey, flowers, veggies, fresh eggs, and other goodies for sale 

    • Other Attractions: N/A

    • Pets: No pets

    • Location: 4091 County Road 210 Fulton, MO 65251

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Generally, blueberries are mid-June and finish late July and blackberries begin late June and end late July. Throughout Berry season their hours are posted each Sunday evening for the week. Check here or their facebook page for hours.

Franklin County

  • Babb Blueberry Farm 

    • What can you pick: blueberries

    • Other Attractions: sell spinach, kale and salad mix all winter

    • Pets: No pets on public picking days but if you make an appointment be sure to notify them.

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Updates for picking days are posted on their Facebook page

    • What can you pick: Honey from hives on the farm, blueberries.

    • Season and Hours of Operation: June regular picking days are Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. but booking an appointment is available on all days except Saturday

Phelps County

  • Brandywine Blueberry Farm 

    • What can you pick: Blueberries

    • Other Attractions: Uses natural growing practices

    • Pets:  unknown 

    • Location: 13370 County Road 7160  Rolla, MO 65401

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Not open for the 2019 season due to changing out old bushes with new bushes they do not have enough to support this picking season. New bushes take a couple of years to establish and start producing so check back next season!

  • The Blue Hill Company, LLC 

    • What can you pick: Blueberries

    • Other Attractions: No pesticides are used

    • Pets: Allowed on leash if well behaved. 

    • Location: 19410 State Route O Rolla, Missouri

    • Season and Hours of Operation: 7:30 am on Saturdays.  Sometimes open during the week due to when the berries ripen. Check their facebook for updates on picking days.

Benton County

  • Anne's Acres  

    • What can you pick:blueberries

    • Other Attractions: Anne's Acres will be the place to be on the 4th of July.  They will be open for blueberry picking 7-noon and from 7-3 for the Mozarite Society's  Rock Pick

    • Pets: Not allowed

    • Season and Hours of Operation: Fridays and Saturdays 7am-noon. Check their events page for specific dates they will be open for picking

    • What can you pick:  summer: tart cherries, blackberries October: pumpkins, gourds

    • Other Attractions: a pumpkin patch during the month of October offers corn stalks, straw bales, hayrides, farm animals, picnic and photo areas, musical entertainment

    • Season and Hours of Operation: season starts April the 15th and goes till late October. Monday-Sunday 7a.m.-7 p.m.
