Pasta-lovers in Columbia: get ready to unite! Kyle Bogden and Shane Guinnip, sous chefs at the one and only Barred Owl Butcher & Table, are running their very own pop-up with Molto Pastificio. When the two aren’t cooking for Barred Owl Butcher & Table Wednesday through Sunday, they work together to create hand-rolled pasta dishes using a traditional Italian mattarello. No machines, no shortcuts.
On special Mondays and Tuesdays, when most local restaurants in Columbia are closed, you can stop by Barred Owl Butcher & Table in the evening for a unique, generous helping of authentic pasta for carry-out from Molto Pastificio. Bogden and Guinnip are always experimenting with new flavors, using primarily the freshest ingredients from local farmer’s markets. Pasta is the star of the show, but they also bake organic Italian bread, complimentary for mopping up the sauce and savoring every bite! Be careful; pasta is served on a first-come, first-serve basis and you don’t want to miss it!
As great as “Molto Mondays” are, there’s more than one way you can get your hands on this delicious food. Molto Pastificio plans to spread love and pasta through local events that call for delicious food. In fact, you may have already caught them at the 2023 Zipper Fest, the yearly festival in Columbia, MO with local art, live entertainment, and the hottest local vendors!
